Our client are a leading global organisation who specialise in providing operations, maintenance and asset & project management services across various industries.
They are seeking a Finance and Administration Manager to join their growing Projects Group within the Transmission and Distribution Services division.
Suitably degree qualified with CA/CPA, your experience must include financial management experience with an infrastructure project based context and a demonstrated involvement in the tender process for large scale projects.
The responsibilities of this role include:
* Preparation and analysis of monthly/yearly and other ad hoc financial reports
* Budgetting & forecasting
* Implementing cost control and analysis, and assisting project and other managers with identifying and controlling areas where profitability could be improved
* Identifying and implementing processes to ensure best practice in the financial aspects of Project Management
* Tracking the financial position of the projects and identifying and challenging gaps and discrepancies to ensure accuracy throughout the course of the project
* Ensuring financial reporting complies with company policy, Australian/International Accounting Standards and legislation where appropriate
With team members distributed across four states, this person must have an ability to multitask, manage & motivate remotely and communicate effectively across all levels of business. Exposure to SAP is an advantage.
